How do I create an account?
Open the app and tap Sign Up. You can register with email, Google, or Apple. After signing up, you'll be guided through a short onboarding to build your scholarship profile.
How do I complete my profile?
After signing in, tap the Account tab → Edit Profile. Fill in your major, GPA, education level, state, citizenship, and area of interest. The more complete your profile, the better your scholarship matches.
Can I upload my resume to fill the profile automatically?
Yes. In the profile screen tap Upload Resume and select a PDF or DOCX file. We'll extract your major, GPA, school, awards, and other details automatically. You can review and edit anything before saving.
How does NextGrant find matches for me?
Our matching engine ranks scholarships based on your profile: major, area of interest, education level, GPA, state, and citizenship. Each scholarship card shows a match score so you can focus on the best fits first.
Why is my match score for a scholarship lower than expected?
Match scores reflect how many of the scholarship's requirements you meet. If a scholarship targets a specific major or state that doesn't match yours, the score will be lower. Tap Why this match? on any scholarship to see a detailed breakdown.
Some matches show "Complete your profile" — what does that mean?
The scholarship requires information that's not in your profile yet (e.g. citizenship or GPA). Add it in the Account tab to get an accurate match.
Why don't I see new scholarships every day?
Our database is updated regularly, but new matches depend on your profile. If you've recently added information, pull down on the scholarship list to refresh.
